Regulating Your Body Temperature for the Colder Seasons

As we are entering into the colder months of the year in the United States, we want to prepare our wombs to combat colder weather. When your body temperature is not regulated, the body is prone to inflammation, constriction in blood flow, and sensitivity to pain restrictors thus causing severe period cramps and an ignition of PMS symptoms. For the next 3-4 months, we recommend to maintain an ideal body temperature to take back control of your menstrual cycle for future colder seasons.

Once you are aware of when your period will start through your desired period tracker app, we recommend this holistic approaches to balance the temperature in your body:

  1. Heating pads

  3. Taking a hot/warm bath

Does Meat Cause Womb Issues?

There is a debate whether meat can cause womb issues. Let's first talk about ractopamine. It is a meat additive to aid in animal growth in pork, beef and turkey.  This has also be shown in farm-raised salmon and chlorinated chicken.   Although banned in over 160 countries, this ingredient is approved for use in the United States.   The intention is to contribute to mass production quickly for the meat processing industry. So does meat interefere with the process of conquering your period?

Ractopamine and the body:

  • It is carcinogenic and an added steroid

  • Causes tumor growth in the body

  • Linked to cancer

  • Associated with Alzheimer’s

  • Can elevate heart rate

  • Increases chance of heart disease

  • Causes hyperactivity and aggression

What does this mean for womb wellness?

  • Research for yourself how ractopamine can affect the body

  • Tumor growth may be associated with cysts, fibroids, cancer, etc.

  • Eat foods where you are fully aware of it’s production

  • Shift your mindset from what is comfortable to what makes sense for your body

Relax, Relate, Release

When was the last time you ran yourself a hot bath and had 30-60 minutes of alone time to truly relax and rejuvenate your body? Taking a bath is a way of honoring your body and womb by detoxing the impurities that may hinder your body. Not only will engaging in a soak promote physical wellness but it will also elevate your emotional well-being, regulate your mental health, and ignite your spiritual presence.

Ways to Eliminate Stress During the Holidays

Most would assume that the holidays is a joyous time to be around family, fellowship and exchange gifts. However, it can be extremely stressful to host events, afford festivities and gifts with the influx of inflation and to ultimately people please by taking care of everyone else except for yourself. This amount of stress can be harsh on the womb and we encourage you to avoid any energy or factors that do not contribute to maintaining your peace.

How to overcome being overwhelmed during the holiday
Holiday stress

Ways To Eliminate Stress During the Holidays:

  1. Set boundaries with any person, place, or situation that disrespects your wishes and boundaries

  2. It is okay to say, "No" if you do not want to do something.

  3. Be okay with how others handle the boundaries that you set. It is not up to you feel guilty for their reactions.

  4. You can pave your own path. You do not have to follow what everyone else is doing just because that is the influenced trend.

  5. Save as much money as possible. If you do not have extra money to buy gifts, then save for your necessities. If you cannot afford a lavish dinner, cook or purchase what you can. Besides, who really wants to continue celebrating colonizers raping, abusing and taking over the land of our indigenous ancestors?!

Be kind to yourself and show yourself some grace! If you want to rest, do that. If you want to have some "me" time, do it. Whatever you choose, ensure that you are taking care of yourself first before you can pour into others. Your womb will thank you for next month's cycle the more you decrease the amount of stress that circulates your womb.
